The intent of this bid is to establish a contract between the District and one vendor for the purchase and installation of fencing at Pasco High School. The objective is to reduce pedestrian access to certain areas of the school by directing pedestrian flow and to keep the campus safe. Questions Deadline: 10/27/2022 01:30 PM (CT) There is an estimated 2,234 linear feet of 6' fencing needed at this location. The District requires 6- gauge chain link type fencing with black vinyl coating, knuckle on knuckle, for the campus. In addition, multiple gates and panic bars will be needed to provide ingress and egress throughout the campus. The complete Fencing Site Plan Document with gate specifications, can be found in "Attachments" on IONWAVE. New fencing is required to be attached to existing fences in some areas. Supply product and installation of fencing. o Adhere to property lines. o Clean up debris and unused materials and remove from the site each day. o Vendor shall perform services to the highest standards in the fencing building industry. o Verify areas to receive gates are completed to final grades and elevations and that there is sufficient space to receive gate in open position (gate and overhang.) o Install gates plumb, level, and secure for full opening without interference. o Attach hardware by means that will prevent unauthorized removal. o Adjust hardware for smooth operation. o Supply and utilize suitable barricades, lights, and/or safety devices to protect the school and public prior to the installation. o Barricades, lights, and/or safety devices shall be removed as soon as possible thereafter. o Vendor shall be held responsible for any damage done by Vendor or its agents. o Vendor shall repair or correct any damage caused to underground and/or overhead utilities in the installation and/or repair of fencing, at no additional cost to the District. o Vendor shall repair or correct, to the satisfaction of the District, any damage to District and/or private property resulting from fence installation and/or repairs, at no additional cost to the District. This includes, but is not limited to, repairing concrete sidewalks, medians, and athletic fields.
