DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The scope of work for this project includes: - Convert existing lab space at Hildebrand Hall D54 to a Laser Lab. - Accessibility improvements to toilet rooms and path of travel. - And other work as indicated. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS: To allow the University to evaluate bidders, each bidder must submit with its bid, a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience. This Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience must be provided on the Contractor’s letterhead. If your firm provides inaccurate or incomplete information your firm will be found non-responsive. If your firm receives negative project references, they may be found non-responsive. To be eligible for consideration of award, the Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience must include: LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Bidder will be required to have the following California current and active contractor's license at the time of submission of the Bid: “B” - General Contractor The work described in the contract is a public work subject to section 1771 of the California Labor Code. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
