Renovation of an educational facility in S Glastonbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project entails the removal and replacement of the existing Chiller Unit and all associated work. The scope of Work for the Project will include all materials, labor, services, equipment, systems, rigging, crane and machinery described in, and as may be reasonably inferable from the Bidding Documents. Generally, the work will include the selective demolition and legal disposal of mechanical structures within the existing areas of the space as well as all associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing within the existing chiller space. The work will require the contactor to install the new owner supplied chiller as defined in the plans and specifications. Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents. Hours of Operation: The normal hours of work on the Project site shall be 7:00am until 3:30pm. The Contractor is advised that the work will occur within an occupied school setting although the existing work is within an exterior Chiller space. The Owner can provide access to the Project each day as early as 5am. Special work days and hour arrangements are to be made in advance with the Owner, although no cost shall be charged to the contractor for custodial hours.
