Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Francisville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the low bid and must be in the form of a certified check, or cashiers check. The Bid Bond shall be in favor of the West Feliciana Hospital and shall be accompanied by the appropriate power of attorney. No bid indicating an obligation of less than five percent (5%) by any method is acceptable.No Performance and Payment Bond will be required for this project. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R. S. 37:250-2163 for the classification of Driveways, Parking Areas, Asphalt and Concrete. Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R. S. 38:2212 (A)(I)(c). No bid maybe withdrawn for a period of thirty (days) after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R. S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA. R. S. 38:2212 (A)(I)9b), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the advertisement bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by any public entity. The Contractor shall be responsible for visiting the site, familiarizing himself with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed, and correlating his observations with the requirements of the contract documents.
