A. PURPOSE AND SPECIFICATIONS 1. Clarke County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified firms for the delivery and installation of a new boiler for Boyce Elementary School as specified in this document and Appendix A. 2. Clarke County Public Schools has hired Lawrence Perry Associates to create the technical specifications and drawings for this project. The technical specifications and drawings are a part of Appendix A. The document will be available for viewing and downloading on the Clarke County website (www.clarkecounty.gov), under business and procurement notifications. The document will be also be available for viewing and downloading on eVA (the Commonwealth of Virginias e-procurement site). The document will be labeled as Appendix M001. 3. Equipment, materials, and labor required by the contract drawings shall be guaranteed to be free from defective materials or workmanship for one year after final acceptance of the project. Defective materials or workmanship occurring during this period shall be corrected at no additional cost. The Clarke County Purchasing Office, on behalf of Clarke County Public Schools, is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified firms for the delivery and installation of a new boiler at Boyce Elementary School per the specifications in this Invitation for Bids.
