Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, parts, travel, and incidentals to test (and repair/replace, if necessary) backflow preventers that are connected to East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD) Water System, Alameda County Water District, Dublin San Ramon Services Department, the City of Pleasanton Water District, the City of Livermore Water Resources Division, PG&E, San Francisco Water, the City of Hayward Water District, and Golden State Water Company. Contractor shall pay all fees associated with services described herein. Proposed Award Date (estimate) 11/04/2022 Payment Bond (ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidder's bid exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement This Agreement will commence on December 1, 2022 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on November 30, 2025 (estimate). The total bid proposal for this Agreement must not exceed $388,000.00 Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause
