Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yankton, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of November 29 ,2022, project was awarded to Fenton Construction, awarded amount is $4,059,654.93.** Submittal of the Bid shall be in accordance with Article 14 of the Instruction to Bidders. The Project includes the following Work: -Furnish and Install approximately 33,450 SF of 6" Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk -Furnish and Install approximately 2,510 Ton of Class B Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 6,809 Ton of Class C Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 3,845 Ton of Class D Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 925 Ton of Special Class B Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 4,736 Ton of Special Class C Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 1,102 Ton of Special Class D Riprap -Furnish and Install approximately 222 CuYd of Bank and Channel Protection Gabions -Furnish and Install approximately 1,102 Ton of Special Class D Riprap 4,404 CuYd of Unclassified Excavation -Furnish and Install approximately 4,068 CuYd of Imported Topsoil -Furnish and Install approximately 17,496 Ea of Riparian Pole Plantings -Furnish and Install approximately 4,457 Ea of Containerized Upland Plantings -All other miscellaneous work required not herein mentioned but inferred from the construction contract documents. Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $3,200,000 to $3,600,000. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of electronic or paper Bidding Documents shall be furnished, without charge, to each prime contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to submit a bid to the Owner. Additionally, if a paper copy is provided under the conditions of SDCL 5-18B-1, in consideration of the documents being provided at no charge, unsuccessful bidders agree to return the documents to the office of Banner Associates, at the address listed above, within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Article 8 of the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds shall be furnished in accordance with Article 19 of the Instructions to Bidders. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
