Renovation of a fire / police facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Estimated budget $25k - $35k The City of Raleigh Department requests proposals to remove existing concrete sealer and install new epoxy sealant within the truck bays at select City of Raleigh Fire Stations. The following locations are: 2601 Fairview Rd Raleigh, NC 27608 (Fire Station #6); 3510 Harden Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607 (Fire Station #14) The scope of work associated with this project is to strip and remove the existing sealer and install an impregnating sealer withing the truck bays of two City of Raleigh fire stations. Both stations combined is a total space of approximately 10,000 square feet of concrete floor. Fire Station #6 has approximately 4,000 sq ft and Fire Station #14 has approximately 6,000 square feet. Tile Clad epoxy or equivalent shall be used. All painted lines within the area of the scope must be repainted. The work will be done one bay at a time so fire services are not interrupted. Fire Station #6 has two bays and Fire Station #14 has 3 bays. It is the intent of the City of Raleigh that this project will be bid as a single prime contract and awarded as such. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. Total cost of this project will be included within the bid package along with an itemized cost for each Fire Station. All labor, materials, equipment and permitting fees in relation to the purpose of this project are to be included with the total cost. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
