Renovation of a medical facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the LTC Elevator Replacement project. The estimated construction cost for the CMR Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $3.4 million. (Add $1.4 million for elevator subcontractor). The total estimated construction budget including the GMP, in-house construction services, and the Owner's contingency is $5.3 million. Please Note: There will not be a pre-submittal meeting held for this project. Response to Questions/Final Addendum 10/26/2022 02:00:00 PM (CT) PROJECT DESCRIPTION The scope of work includes six (4) public elevator replacements within existing hoist ways. TK Elevator to provide elevator equipment basis of design. The existing elevators for consideration currently serve floors as indicated below. Elevator E83: Serves Floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 Elevator E84: Serves Floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 Elevator E85: Serves Floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 Elevator E88: Serves Floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 A full set of Construction Documents will be provided with the assistance of the awarded GC. Set includes Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. Specifications will be on the drawings. Attend preconstruction meetings and regular OAC Meetings. Mechanical and electrical engineering will support the upgrade of four (4) existing elevators within the Lied Transplant Center. Scope is to include machine room cooling, venting, fire protection, fire alarm provisions, lighting, and power coordination with high rise code and coordination with the Elevator Supplier. Four (4) elevator cars. Machine rooms on 13th level. Dedicated cooling to Machine room. Verify sump meets current volume ejection requirements Provide Fire Protection as required. High Rise elevator code coordination. Power to receptacle to pit. Power to elevator machinery. Smoke Detection at top of hoist way and machine room. Top of hoist way Vent. Confirm this should remain. The construction staging area has not been determined at this time
