The Austin Independent School District (herein after referred to as "AISD" or the "District") is seeking proposals from firms qualified and experienced in providing and implementing network equipment attached to fiber optic networks for high-speed Internet access. This project will involve network capacity upgrades up to 40Gbps with the installation of Cisco 9000 series (or equivalent) network switches and related optical modules. The scope of the project will include device upgrades at approximately 41 campuses in the AISD network, and replacement of optical modules at approximately 37 district campuses. Questions Due Date: Oct 19th 2022, 2:00 PM CDT The agreement(s) resulting from this solicitation will be in effect for an initial term from the date of award by the Board of Trustees until June 30, 2025., The parties by mutual consent may renew the agreement for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods. In addition, the district reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional time beyond the final expiration date if necessary to ensure no lapse in service.
