Renovation of an educational facility in Amarillo, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Mechanical Contractors proposal shall be clearly marked "Sealed Proposal Do Not Open" in bold text. Telephone proposals or facsimile transmitted proposals will not be accepted. The scope of the project covers the mechanical and electrical work for Welding Booth Upgrades at Manufacturing Education Center at Amarillo College East Campus, Amarillo, Texas. All work will be contracted and coordinated by Jim Baca. Two sets of plans and specifications may be obtained from Jim Baca by qualified Mechanical Contractors. All plans and specifications shall be returned to Jim Baca. A cashier's check, or acceptable bidder's bond, payable to the Amarillo Junior College District, in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total for the proposal submitted must accompany each proposal, as a guarantee that, if awarded a contract, the Proposer will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities or reject any or all proposals. By submitting a proposal, the proposer agrees to waive any claim against Amarillo Junior College District, the Architect/Engineer and their respective employees, arising out of or made in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any proposal. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt unless sooner returned.
