Aldrin Drive Water Main Replacement The project consists of the replacement of water main along Aldrin Drive between Lunar Street and Apollo Street. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio for Heavy Highway Construction. All proposals shall be accompanied by a bond in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid to the satisfaction of the City Manager or by a certified check made payable to the City of Sidney in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid on a solvent bank, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within seven (7) working days after written notification of acceptance has been given. When a Bidder bids on alternate types of construction, only one certified check or bond of the amount fixed in the legal notice will be required. When a proposal is accepted, and within seven (7) days thereafter, the Bidder whose proposal is so accepted will be required to enter into a Contract in the form hereto attached and give a bond in the sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the proposal, executed by an authorized surety, guaranty or trust company, or companies, to the satisfaction of the Owner. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
