Carteret County Government is seeking proposals to replace Kennels at the Humane Society located at 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570. The Contractor shall provide cost per building separated by interior and exterior kennels. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of all kennel fencing and any associated hardware away from the jobsite. The Contractor shall then furnish and install all new galvanized fencing, hardware for kennels and reinstall dog doors and any other accessories required to complete this project in like design. The Contractor shall ensure that all the support post, clips and plates are strongly anchored where required, which may include repairs to existing surroundings including but not limited to concrete flooring, ceilings or block. The Contractor shall save and reinstall all kennel signs, gate clips and padlocks in the same order as existing. The Contractor shall verify any and all measurements pertaining to this project. Moving of all materials, equipment and all cleaning are to be handled by the Contractor. Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractors expense. A site visit will be required by contacting the POC below. Schedule of work will be determined by Carteret County Government. Carteret County Government reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, proposals directed to the best interest of the County. The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices, and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules and regulations bearing on the conduct of the work. No time extensions shall be granted or financial consideration given to the Contractor for time or monies lost due to violations of any such ordinance, code, law or regulations that may occur. Contractors must be able to provide current Certificates of Insurance for public liability, property damage, and Workers Compensation. Quotes/bids/proposals will not be accepted after the due date assigned. All contractual terms and conditions will be subject to review by Carteret County and will include scope, schedule, and other necessary items pertaining to the project.
