Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: sealing and striping existing parking lots, replacing single and double LED fixtures, and pressure washing existing concrete pavement at Health Department facilities in various counties in Northeast Alabama. Scope of work for Dekalb County also includes minor grading and drainage improvements, concrete work, and paving. Prequalification is required for this project. Only General Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to the pre-qualification procedures and criteria established by the Owner, will be eligible to bid the Project. The pre-qualification procedure is intended to identify responsible and competent bidders relative to the requirements of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to waive technical errors in applications or abandon the pre-qualification process. Pre-qualification proposal package requirements may be obtained from the office of Robins & Morton. The deadline for receipt of pre-qualification submittals is seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid due date. Substantial Completion shall be achieved within 180 calendar days from the date of commencement of Work. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Bid Documents (Drawings and Specifications) may be examined at the Office of the Architect. Digital PDF copies of Bid Documents shall be provided to all Pre-qualified General Contractors. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. All questions referring to the actual Bid Documents shall only be submitted by email to the Architects representative.
