The Village of Watkins Glen has consistently received State funds to support new initiatives for Clute Park. Currently with Project Seneca - the Clute Park Redevelopment was awarded $500,000 to support the creation of an accessible playground within Clute Park. The Village of Watkins Glen is now requesting proposals from qualified individuals or consultant firms to provide Engineering and Design services for these projects to be undertaken with funding through the NYS Department of State's Environmental Protection Fund and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). Qualified applicants must have demonstrated experience working with projects of a similar scope. The Village of Watkins Glen strongly encourages Minority/Woman Business Enterprises to submit proposals under this RFP. The project has established goals of 15% MBE and 15% WBE participation. Service-Disabled Veterans Owned Businesses (SDVOB) are also encouraged to submit proposals. The project has an encouraged goal of 6% SDVOB participation. Delivery Point 303 N.
