A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of replacing an existing 12' wide multiplate culvert with an open bottom metal arch culvert on concrete footings located on West Meadow Road approximately 0.1 miles west of the intersection with Lake Avenue in Rockland, Maine. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bid Documents at the Issuing Officea on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Bidder may be represented at bid opening if so desired. Faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. The City of Rockland reserves the right to waive any informality in bids, to accept any bid, and to reject any or all bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. Bid Documents will not be mailed. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bid Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
