.The work under this Contract shall consist of the restoration of utility excavations throughout Town for a period of one calendar year from the date of the contract award. The construction activities shall include milling the existing pavement, placement of new bituminous concrete and sealing the joints. .Contract Documents, which include Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, Special Conditions, Technical Specifications, Supplemental Technical Specification, Attachments and Addenda may be examined on or after October 13, 2022 by going to the Advanced Reprographics portal Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a certified check of Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of Bid. A performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required equal to the value of the contract. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570.All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the contractor shall employ as possible, such methods and means to carry out this work that does not cause interruption or interfere with any other contractor.All bids shall be accompanied by the Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Compliance Certification which is enclosed in the Bid Documents. No bids submitted without a completed Drug and Alcohol Compliance Certification will be considered for award.No Bid may be withdrawn until one hundred and twenty, (120), calendar days after the date of the opening of the Bids.
