The work to be performed consists of: Tipton Court A. Porch Replacement 1. Concrete slab and sidewalk replacement 2. Earthwork 3. Column replacement B. Porch Roof Replacement - Bid Alt. No 1 1. Framing and roofing Work includes providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods herein listed, mentioned or scheduled on the Project Documents and / or herein, including all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals as necessary for their completion. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Housing Authority of Richmond, U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. All Bidders shall include with their bid a statement from an acceptable surety that if their bid is accepted, the surety will furnish to the Bidder the required performance and payment bond or bonds required by the contract documents. The Housing Authority of Richmond reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Tipton Court - Base Bid - Porch Slab Replacement A. Jack up existing porch roof structure and install temporary support. B. Remove existing columns, porch slab, and adjacent sidewalk. C. Excavate existing and provide and install new fill & DGA. D. Install new porch slab, sidewalk and columns. E. Tuckpoint & repair existing brick. Tipton Court - Bid Alternate #1 - Porch Roof Structure Replacement F. Demo existing, provide and Install new porch covering including structure and framing, sheathing, underlaymaent and shingles, fiber cement shake siding, gutter, downspout, fascia, and soffit.
