Contract No.: EES-2020-02 Task Assignment: TA-21-34A IIS Number: 116386 Program ID No.: BF0418 Tetra Tech Project No.: S7158.2134A The Village of Elm Creek ( Village ) desires to have all proposals reviewed at a public meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Elm Creek currently scheduled for November 21, 2022. The work is generally described as follows: A Nebraska licensed abatement contractor shall remove and dispose of asbestos containing materials located at 340 E. Front Street, Elm Creek, Nebraska in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal requirements. Contractors should submit two (2) hard copies of their proposal in a format that is easily reproduceable, as well as submitted electronically in a pdf. Bid proposals must include the following specific requirements: A. Contractor must submit proof of licensure by the State of Nebraska at the time of submitting their bid. B. Contractor must provide a completion date of no later than December 15, 2022. C. Contractor will be required to comply with the requirements of an Interlocal Agreement entered into between the Village and the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy as well as fair labor standards as required by Nebraska R.R.S. 73-102 and comply with Nebraska R.R.S. 48-657. Contractor shall maintain a drug free workplace policy. Every contractor and its subcontractor shall register with and use a federal immigration verification system to determine the work eligibility status of new employees physically performing services within the State of Nebraska. The Village reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids which furnish the materials and construction that will, in their opinion serve the best interests of the Village, and also reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Upon acceptance of a bid, Contractor shall be required to execute an Agreement for Services, a draft of which can be obtained by contacting the Municipal Administrator.
