Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Panacea, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The principal feature of this procurement by the County is known as Construction and Installation of Elevated Aluminum Platforms for Lift Stations 8, 9, and 34. The specifications of this procurement are stated in the ITB 2024-37. All technical inquiries and clarification requests shall be submitted in writing to Patty Taylor, Procurement and Contracts Coordinator, ptaylor@mywakulla.com in accordance with the ITB. Verbal clarifications will not be provided. A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a publicentity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the thresold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO ($35,000) for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid; reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part; re-bid a project, in whole or in part; and to accept a proposal that in its judgment is the lowest and best bid of a responsible bidder. In accepting a bid, Wakulla County may award a contract based only on the base bid, the base bid plus all alternates, or the base bid plus any alternates which Wakulla County selects with all decisions being made based upon what Wakulla County believes to be the best interests of its ratepayers, in the reasonable exercise of its discretion. Wakulla County further reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities as may be required to meet the needs of Wakulla County, at the unit price which was bid. This section contains the Scope of Service that will be required in any contract that may be executed because of this bid. By submitting a reply, each Bidder specifically acknowledges and agrees that in addition to all requirements noted elsewhere in this Bid, all requirements referencing “Contractor” contained within the Scope of Service below will be applicable to the Bidder should they be deemed the successful Bidder. All services to be performed by, or under the direction of the successful Bidder under any resultant contract, shall meet or exceed the minimum requirement outlined in this Bid. Under no circumstances shall services meeting less than the minimum services requirements be permitted without the prior written approval of the County; otherwise, it shall be considered that services proposed will performed in strict compliance with requirement and rules, regulations and governance contained in this Bid and successful Bidder shall be held responsible therefore. Scope of Work. A. The Contractor agrees to furnish and pay for all management, supervision, financing, labor, materials, tools, transportation, fuel, supplies, utilities, equipment and services of every kind and type necessary to diligently, timely, and fully perform and complete in a good and workmanlike manner the Work required by this Agreement. B. All materials and equipment shall be applied, installed, connected, erected, used, cleaned, and conditioned in accordance with the instructions of the applicable manufacturers, fabricator, or processors except as otherwise provided in the Contract Documents.
