During the progress of any job, the Contractor may suspend work via written permission of the Engineer, wholly or in part, for such period or periods as the Engineer may deem necessary, due to unsuitable weather, or such other conditions as are considered unfavorable for the suitable prosecution of the work. If it should become necessary to stop work for an indefinite period, the Contractor shall store all materials in such manner that they will not obstruct or impede traveling public unnecessarily, nor become damaged in any way, and the Contractor shall take every precaution to prevent damage or deterioration of the work performed, and erect temporary structures where necessary. When conditions permit resumption of work, the Contractor shall notify the Engineer twelve (12) hours in advance and shall proceed with the work only when and if authority is granted by the Engineer. Any work performed without approval by the Engineer will be at the Contractor's risk, and the Contractor shall be held liable for removal of any such work Septic Tank and Grease Trap Pumping and Disposal Services, Term Contract Baltimore County is Soliciting Bids to Establish a Term Agreement for Septic Tank, Grease Trap, and Holding Tank Pumping and Disposal Services, as Specified. The term of the contract shall be for one (1) year. The County reserves the right to renew this contract for up to four (4) additional one-year renewal options under the same terms and conditions. The County will automatically renew the contract on each option year unless notice is given to the Contractor that the contract is not renewed.
