A. The intent of this Agreement is for the Contractor to remove a portion of an existing nonstructural wall and relocate and/or add Modular Systems Furniture (MSF) power and communication poles in accordance with the following: 1. Provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to remove and construct a partition wall section with two (2) openings and finish according to Attachment A-2, Division of the State Architect Approved Plans, and Attachment A-3, State Fire Marshal Approved Plans (Plans). 2. Relocate existing modular power and communication poles per the Plans. Install new J boxes, as needed, for additional MSF. 3. Ensure all necessary precautions and procedures to prevent damage to any areas at the work site. Provide necessary protective materials around the work area. B. The Contractor will be expected to provide any or all of the following during the term of this Agreement: Inspections pertaining to repair work orders. Consultation/planning on best method to achieve the intended result. Completion of work orders as provided by the EDD Representative. Identify and report to the EDD Representative any safety hazard, faulty equipment, or other condition encountered during the course of the work at the EDD office which the Contractor determines needing repair or replacement. The Contractor shall comply with all state, EDD, and local office policies and procedures while on the premises. The Contractor shall provide interior construction and electrical services for the EDD facility located at 2555 S. Elm Avenue, Fresno, CA 93706.
