Site work for a water / sewer project in Madisonville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 2,2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of approximately 6,225 liner feet of 30 inch and 36 inch gravity sewer, jack & bore crossings, and associated structures. Due to the long delivery times, The City of Madisonville will be purchasing all sewer pipe and casing. Contractor will be responsible for purchase of all other required items. Delivery is projected at 3-5 months. A 5% bid bond is required with contractors bid. The award of this project will be to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Bidder awarded the contract shall complete this project within 180 calendar days, from delivery of pipe. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $500.00 per calendar day Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to C. F. Williams, P.E. at Ronald Johnson & Associates, 24 W. Center St, Madisonville, Kentucky 42431. To be given consideration, questions must be received by 10 a.m. 7 calendar days before the bid opening date.
