The City of Redwood City is solicitating bids for the 2020-2021 Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project. A. City will NOT conduct Pre-Bid Meeting at this time. Bidders may request and perform a Site Visit at the Project Site. B. The Site Visit may be the Bidders only opportunity to investigate conditions at the Site. Pre-Bid Site Visits may be scheduled at City's sole discretion, depending on staff availability The work includes furnishing labor, equipment, and materials for removing and replacing Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) with new Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) SDR 26 pipe, sanitary sewer laterals, manholes and all other associated work. Est. Value Notes: $2,700,000 to $3,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. a) Remove and Replace / Furnish and Install of existing 6- and 10-inch diameter Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) with new 8-inch diameter Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) SDR 26 sanitary sewer lines. b) Furnish and install 30-inch steel casing with 18-inch PVC SDR 26 carrier sanitary sewer line. c) Furnish and install new (4-inch and 6-inch) sanitary sewer laterals. d) Remove and Replace / Furnish and Install new sanitary sewer manholes. e) Remove and Replace / Furnish and Install of existing 15-inch diameter Reinforced. The Engineer's Opinion on Probable Cost of this project is approximately $2,700,000 to $3,500,000 USD.
