This Indian Health Services scope of work at the Whiteriver Service Unit is a tenant improvement to demolish and construct two new nurses’ stations located in the FCU & OB departments. This project also includes replacing the soffit & ceiling over the FCU nurse station, replacing the nonfunctional FCU visitors' intercom system, replacing the flooring at both locations, and upgrading the FCU and OB nurses’ station light fixtures with led lighting. All interior walls are existing to remain. The scope includes requirements to open existing walls and ceilings to route new utilities. Core drilling is required to get power, data, and low voltage to the nurse’s station. The ceilings, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment shall be relocated and/or upgraded to meet the requirements of the renovation work. The project will require 2 phases, as the 1st nurse station has to be completed before the other may begin. This project is Prevailing Wage and has the Buy American Requirement.
