Lower Augusta Township will accept sealed Bids for the New Restroom Addition Project A certified check or Bid Bond payable to or naming as Obligee Lower August Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid must be submitted with the Bid as a guarantee that in the case the Contract is awarded the successful Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish all Bonds as may be required. This Contract is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate minimum wage rates must be paid by the contractor for performance of all necessary work. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The contractor shall also comply with Act 127 of 2012. Lower Augusta Township Supervisors reserve the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any Bid Item, and to award the Contract as may be deemed by Lower Augusta Township Supervisors to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 11/7/2022 4:00 PM
