The East Lyme Water Department is accepting bids to repaint the Boston Post Road Tank. This bid advertisement entails repainting and upgrading the East Lyme Water and Sewer Departments Boston Post Road water tank, located at 440 Boston Post Road (Route 1) in East Lyme, CT. This work will include; the total removal of exterior coatings, application of full exterior coating, interior coating spot removal and application plus installation of an impressed current cathodic protection system and listed upgrades. The tank is a 1,300,000-gallon welded tank built in 1988, 74-ft diameter and 42-ft tall with five shell rings Any questions regarding this bid should be emailed to Matthew Garneau (mgarneau@eltownhall.com) no later than 4 PM on Thursday October 27, 2022 in case an addendum needs to be sent to all prospective bidders.
