PN-20-132 Covered Riding Arena. This project includes the construction of a 13,000 SF pre-engineered metal structure with open sides and ends. It will be located off Oakland Road on the Spindale Campus of Isothermal Community College. There will be grading, drainage, plumbing and electrical work required. All bidders are notified that the provisions of NCGS 143-128, including guidelines for minority business participation shall be observed in letting and executing the work. Bidders are also notified that they must be properly licensed under the state laws governing their respective trades and that applicable provisions of Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of the State of North Carolina shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work including the proper MBE Forms. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contract to other than the lower bidder should it be deemed in their best interest.
