Scope: The project consists of demolition and re-construction of the exterior building envelope to enclose approximately 95,000 SF of building. Project will remove and replace all masonry veneer, incorporate flashing, replace window and door systems, remove, and replace portions of the existing roof, and reconfigure the landscaping. As of October 14, 2024, the project is in design. A timeline for bidding has not yet been set. A firm timeline for construction has not yet been announced. Plans call to complete a feasibility study and cost analysis for the potential remodel of select areas of the Brazos County Administration Building, currently located at 200 S. Texas Ave., Bryan, Texas, in areas mentioned below: Sanctuary area, creating training area(s), for multiple spaces of different sizes to accommodate various group sizes and content this can include law enforcement, software/hardware, or general training. a. Responding Architectural Firms should be experienced in the design of training, classroom, or educational spaces. The awarded firm will present options that maximize training opportunities of the space, accommodating different sized audiences and a multitude of departments. It is anticipated that technology will be incorporated in all spaces, including a dedicated computer training area. North Wing, creating new office space for the Human Resources Department. This will include offices, reception/entry waiting area, conference/training room(s). a. Responding Architectural Firms should be experienced in the design of office space to include conference rooms and/or training rooms.
