It is the intent of the City of Rochester to establish a contract for Painting Services at existing or new buildings and facilities owned, rented, leased or otherwise controlled by the City, or other buildings as directed by authorized City officials. The primary users of this contract will be Architectural Services, Bureau of Parks, the Rochester Public Library and the Bureau of Building Services.However, other departments and/or divisions may utilize the contract This contract shall cover the City s ongoing need for a contractor to undertake small individual jobs The majority of the jobs will be in the 1,000 - 10,000 range,although some jobs may be up to $20,000 or more if requested by the City. This contract includes incentives for utilizing qualified city residents as employees of the contractor and/or any subcontractors see Section 3 Bidders should carefully review the Insurance Requirements of Section 15, and must certify on the Proposal that they have the insurance specified.
