The Kenton County Fiscal Court is accepting Proposals for Security Camera Wiring at the Kenton County Detention Center located at 3000 Decker Lane, Covington Kentucky. The Kenton County Fiscal Court is accepting proposals to upgrade the Security Camera Wiring to Cat6 for the current 172 cameras and add ten (10) new drop locations for Security Cameras Wiring to its Security Camera System at the Kenton County Detention Center located at 3000 Decker Crane Lane, Covington, Kentucky. The Kenton County Detention Center is accepting proposals to upgrade the existing Security Camera Wiring to Cat6 for 172 existing cameras and adding 10 new camera Cat6 wiring drop locations to its security camera system. Kenton County Detention Center is adding 10 new cameras and will need wiring for these additional cameras. The Kenton County Detention Center will need to keep the old wiring in place for the existing 172 cameras in working function until the new Cat6 wiring is installed for security purposes. All new wiring that is installed must run through conduit of choice. All Cat6 wiring must be "B Style T568B." All wiring will need to be tested and working prior to end of date given. Any Cat6 wiring that is over 328 feet must have a POE Extender installed. POE Extender must be Vigitron Vi2300A or Vigitron Vi2301A. Any new camera wiring must have a 4 square deep box. If new camera wiring is in drop ceiling, the ceiling mounts are to be recessed. All cameras wiring must be labeled on both ends of wiring by drawing identifiers. All wiring must be ran to the correct rooms. The Security Camera Cat6 Wiring must be new equipment, come with all manufacturer warranties, and meet all minimum requirements: - Install 172 camera wiring drop locations with Cat6 represented on drawing with - Install 10 new camera wiring drop locations with Cat6 represented on drawing with - All wiring will be labeled on both ends of cable by drawing identifiers. - All wiring ends will be T-568B. - Any wiring over 328 feet must have a Vigitron Vi2300A or Vigitron Vi2301A POE extender. - Provide all equipment for camera wiring to function properly. - Camera CA38 is ran on inside of loading dock wall and will change to same position except to be ran on outside of loading dock wall to the outside perimeter. - All Cameras will be provided by Kenton County Detention Center after wiring is complete and will not be installed by this contract.
