Lighting Replacement (LED Conversion) for News Department - 4871216

Site work and outdoor lighting for a municipal facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

1. Existing 8-foot fixtures are in disrepair and must be replaced with LED fixtures 2. Demo and remove existing fixtures 3. Provide new LED fixtures as per submittal Q71538 (note - contractor should demonstrate that fixtures will be competitively sourced) 4. Install new LED fixtures as per submittal Q71538 and lighting plan 5. Contractor must provide lift 6. Replace stems and caps as necessary avoiding ceiling damage 7. If ceiling damage does occur, contractor must repair the damage - contingency must be budgeted for the possibility of ceiling damage. 8. Site cleanup and floor protection is required; protect/cover surrounding surfaces 9. No work above the ceiling is required 10.Voltage use is 120 11.Quote must be submitted with costs broken out into labor and materials. 12.Fixture costs must be clearly broken out. 13.The Library Property Management Division will provide in-house electrician support. 14.The Library Property Management Division will provide access to a lighting design engineer when required 15.A certification of insurance is required naming the Free Library and City of Philadelphia as other insureds. 16.Any permits required are the responsibility of the contractor to obtain 17.All work to be performed on regular hours 18.Full schedule must be provided with bid (including fixture lead time) 19.Equipment and demo load out and load in must be prior to 9:00am (on any work day)
