Site work and paving for a civil project in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This contract is for the repair of existing or future utility cuts and the items associated with those repairs, as well as the repair and / or replacement of asphalt at City of Columbus owned facilities. installation and maintenance of highway and street lighting, highway and street sign lighting, electronic message boards and traffic control systems, camera systems, traffic signal work, substation and line construction including overhead and underground projects for private and industrial work as in accordance with the IBEW Constitution. This Agreement includes the operation of all tools and equipment necessary for the installation of the above projects.. The City anticipates issuing a notice to proceed on or about November 25, 2022. All work shall be completed within 365 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor No The purpose of the estimated quantities is to allow the City to determine and to establish a unit bid price for the various items of work contained herein. The City reserves the right to increase, decrease, or non-perform any item(s) or portion(s) thereof, as needed. A total cost will be established by the City, based on available funds, for this work in order to determine a not to exceed amount for the contract. The City does not guarantee that the estimated quantities will be the actual quantity of work performed. The work to be performed in this contract shall be established from and is dependent on the number of utility cut repairs. Any questions on interpretation of the requirements contained in these specifications should be directed to DPUCONSTRUCTIONBIDS@COLUMBUS.GOV After a contract has been awarded, different Divisions within the Department of Public Utilities will establish separate Purchase Orders based on their expected needs and available funds. Separate invoices will be sent for work performed under each individual Purchase Order. Each work location will be identified on the Purchase Order and include the City Work Order number. The successful bidder may also make available Item(s) under the terms, conditions and pricing of the proposed contract to agencies sanctioned by the City of Columbus in its cooperative purchasing efforts. Any agency that is not subject to a City of Columbus purchase order must be invoiced directly by the supplier. Sanctioned agencies' participation is subject to a credit approval by the supplier, as the City of Columbus is in no way obligated by those agencies' financial commitments. Sanctioned agencies included: members of the Central Ohio Organization of Public Purchasers (COOPP), members of the Southwest Ohio Purchasers 4 Government (SWOP4G), and members of the Franklin County Fire Chief's Association in addition to any agencies not specifically mentioned in this bid proposal. This contract is for the repair of existing or future utility cuts and the items associated with those repairs, as well as the repair and / or replacement of asphalt at City of Columbus owned facilities. MBE (10%), WBE (10%) Contract Estimated to Exceed $500,000 But Not Exceed $2,000,000 Questions pertaining to the specifications must be submitted in writing only to the Division of Water, ATTN: Evan DiSanto, PE, via email at emdisanto@columbus.gov, prior to October 28, 2022 by 5:00PM local time.
