The City of Sierra Vista has been awarded funding under The Emergency Home Repair and Disabilities Modification Program (Emergency Program or Program) that assists homeowners in Sierra Vista to perform emergency repairs on substandard housing conditions. Substandard conditions include those posing a serious threat to the health, safety or welfare of the household or affecting the immediate livability of the home. The residence located at 700 S Carmichael Ave Lot #152, Sierra Vista AZ 85635 has been determined eligible to receive such repairs under the program. The maximum amount of assistance per household, may not exceed $10,000. DESCRIPTION OF GOODS and/or SERVICES: Emergency Home Repair - Plumbing & HVAC Services (CDBG Funded). Complete the following scope of work on a residential home under the Emergency Home Repair grant that has been awarded to the City of Sierra Vista: 1. Replace and install new furnace and swamp cooler. 2. Replace toilet and replace the tub faucets. Question Submission Deadline:October 21, 2022, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline:October 26, 2022, 5:00pm This scope of work is being offered as part of the Emergency Home Repairs and Disabilities Modification Program, which assists homeowners in Sierra Vista to perform emergency repairs on substandard housing conditions. Substandard conditions include those posing a serious threat to the health, safety or welfare of the household or affecting the immediate livability of the home by the program applicants. The project must commence within 14 days of Notice To Proceed and the project must be completed within 30 days after project start. The City of Sierra Vista reserves the right to waive any immaterial informalities or irregularities, to reject any bid, all bids, or any part of any bid presented and re-advertise for bids. The City reserves the right to cancel the solicitation and make no award. The City of Sierra Vista reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for the City of Sierra Vista or any other governmental agency. The City of Sierra Vista expressly reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who is in default on the payment of taxes, licenses, or other monies due to the Sierra Vista.
