Renovation of a water / sewer project in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the supply of all labour and materials for wastewater treatment facility modifications as shown on the drawings and herein specified. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following major items and related incidentals further described below: - Temporary flow management of effluent during construction; - Removal and replacement of the Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) system in an existing concrete tank with an Owner pre-purchased system; - Supply, installation, and commissioning of new equipment including aeration blower, submersible sludge pump, sump pump, new building ventilation and all associated interconnected electro-mechanical equipment required for a complete system; - Upgrading all interior building electrical; - Supply and installation of sludge and scum collection and removal pipework; - Supply and installation of yard piping and conduit manhole including all trenching, excavation and backfill; - Supply and Installation of pre-cast concrete chamber for UV System and manhole for Scum Collection including all trenching, excavation and backfill; - Supply and installation of pre-cast concrete blocks, cast-in-place concrete benching; - Existing structure modification including concrete coring and walkway grating; - Demolition of existing structures including relocating existing water box and security camera; - Supply and installation of Pre-Case Equipment Mounting Structure and associated panels; - All work as specified herein, as shown on the Project Drawings, and as described in the Project Specifications outlined in Appendix D.
