Site work for a water / sewer project in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The existing Structure 401 (Railway Wharf) is a timber pile-work pier located on the waterfront of the historic Town of Lunenburg. The deteriorated condition of the structure noted in recent inspections has led to partial barricades and load restrictions. The wharf has been deemed unsuitable and will be replaced through work of this project. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Environmental assessment approvals are in place. Schedules for tender and construction may be confirmed late 2025/2026. *Budget is unreleased.
