Camden County MUA is seeking qualified bidders for repair services and replacement, if necessary and when approved, to a variety of overhead garage doors, steel roll up doors, Performax and Flexon high speed fabric doors. Details of service not explicitly stated in these specifications, but necessary attendant thereto, is deemed understood by the bidder. Typical work shall include the restoration of doors to satisfactory operating condition when operated electrically and when operated manually in case of an electrical power failure. All types of repairs shall be made to restore doors to satisfactory operating condition including restoration or replacement of springs, guides, bent and/or broken sections, supports, mounting and anchorage hardware, operating hardware, locking or latching hardware, moldings, track, cables, wires, switches, manual door components, electrical operator components, radio controls, etc. These repairs may include mechanical, electrical and/or welding. All material and equipment furnished shall be new and in excellent working condition. The vendor must be able to provide parts and necessary materials on an expedited basis, if required, to secure the buildings for personnel or fugitive emissions. The vendor shall submit a work ticket detailing the work performed, hours expedited, and materials used to the Senior Operator for signature before leaving the facility. A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) is defined in the CCMUA Affirmative Action Plan as "a business which is independently owned and operated and is at least 51% owned and controlled by minority group members". Minority group members are defined in the CCMUA Affirmative Action Plan as "persons who are Black, Hispanic, Portuguese, Asian-American, American Indian or Alaskan Natives" A Women Business (WBE) is defined in the CCMUA Affirmative Action Plan as "a business which is independently owned and operated and is at least 51% owned and controlled by women". The CCMUA reserves the right to accept or reject any part or parts of the responses to this bid in accordance with law.
