Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replace pole mount transformers at the buildings of McKissick, Booker T. Washington, Barnwell, McKissick and Wardlaw. Also, provide a new switch at Wardlaw. Project Location: University of South Carolina 1300 Pickens St. Columbia, SC 29208 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Cost- $ 700,000 to $ 900,000 1. The works includes demolition of four (4) surface mounted transclosures that house pole type transformers and switches that currently feed the Booker T. Washington, Barnwell, McKissick and Wardlaw. Also includes removal of the existing medium voltage cables from the McKissick transformers to the existing vault mounted switch in Manhole E2-2. 2. The installation of a pad mounted transformers to feed Booker T. Washington, Barnwell, McKissick and Wardlaw. 3. Installation of underground conduits and medium voltage cables to feed the pad mounted transformer at McKissick.
