Renovation of an educational facility in St Andrews, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University will begin renovation of the Golden X Inn including, but not limited to, the delivery of the work described in this section. The successful proponent is expected to take this project from near final design (Phase 1) to delivery (Phase 2), including all aspects of construction (including, but not limited to, contract administration, project management, site setup, site safety, procurement and coordination of sub-contractors, and as-built drawings). The successful Proponent will be responsible for meeting applicable codes and requirements. The renovation is expected to include, but is not limited to the following: a) Removal and disposal of existing bar serving areas, flooring, lighting and any other architectural, electrical and mechanical items in order to prepare for new design. b) Updating refrigeration for beverage coolers, improvements to bar loading area, additional exiting from bar area; entrance system modifications, c) Tendering - Provide construction budgets and estimates. d) Abatement as required e) IT and AV system upgrades (allowance) f) Furniture, fixtures and equipment (allowance) g) Renovation and Expansion of the Golden X Inn Patio - patio, which shall include all necessary foundations, surrounding civil work, hard-scape, soft-scape, electrical and mechanical systems h) Expansion and Modernization of Washroom Services Deadline for Questions: October 31, 2022, 1:00 PM ADT Please note all questions must be submitted through the StFX Bonfire Portal.
