Soliciting bids from ready-mix concrete plants, which are VDOT approved, to provide on-call, as needed hydraulic cement concrete (ready-mix concrete) to various work locations/routes within Christiansburg residency the counties of Montgomery, Giles and Pulaski in the Salem District, including all towns and cities where routes are maintained by VDOT. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Patty Harvey at patty.harvey@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions by 5:00 PM, on November 4, 2022. The initial term or period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at time of award and with three (3) optional successive one (1) year renewal periods. The Commonwealth also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the procuring public body to be in its best interest.
