Renovation of a municipal facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work of this Contract comprises the following: .1 Complete demolition and replacement of the existing steam heating plant with high efficiency condensing boilers and all required auxiliary plant equipment. .2 Replacement of one existing steam unit heater with, and one AHU steam heating coil and AHU fan motor to be compatible with hydronic heating. .3 Connection of all existing hydronic building heating loops to the new main plant, and replacement of the building system pumps with two new duty/standby VFD pumps. .4 Replacement of six process load shell and tube heat exchangers with two new VFD system level pumps fed in a cascading system from the new condensing boiler plant. .5 Connection of all new systems control points to the existing ESC BMCS, demolition of existing points associated with the steam plant.
