Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work will be constructed under a single prime contract. The General Contractor shall be responsible for the general coordination of the entire project. Each subcontractor shall advise and coordinate their phase of work through the General Contractor and with other subcontractors on the project. The General Contractor shall be responsible for the accuracy and adequacy of all work performed by the subcontractors and for insuring the close cooperation of all crafts. The plans and specifications are to be considered as one document. Any reference to the General Contractor or to any subcontractor shall be considered as a reference to the General Contractor. The City of Council Bluffs Parks Department is requesting bids for all work set forth in the plans, specifications, and proposals for this project. Major items of work for this project include new concrete sidewalks and pavement, play structure installation, swings, resilient surfacing, and storm drainage improvements. Each respondent is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure their submission is received and complete by the listed deadline. Incomplete submissions are automatically rejected. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to the same. The work under the proposed contract shall be completed as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. All work is to be completed on or before November 15, 2023.
