Develop a program to proactively identify and replace aging waterpipes and pipe replacements in areas with high instances of historical failure or demonstrating excessive water leaks in the system. This is intended to prevent pipe failures, which can lead to expensive repairs, property damage, disruptions in service, water loss, and introduce the potential for water quality emergencies. This project encompasses the City's water distribution system. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive any informality in a bid/proposal and/or in the bidding/selection process, and to make awards, if awarded, to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder/offeror as deemed in the best interest of the City. All questions must be submitted in writing to the City's Procurement Department, 2200 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025, by email to: bamartin@miramarfl.gov, no later than November 8, 2022, at 6:00 P.M. Absolutely no questions will be answered if submitted after the question submittal deadline. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
