Proposal for Design Services for SCRWTP Improvements and Expansion As requested by the Public Utilities Engineering and Project Management Division (hereinafter, the "Division or Department"), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, "County") has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, "RPS") with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Consultants in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. Collier County is pursuing a Consultant to complete a comprehensive review of Collier County Water-Sewer Districts (CCWSD's) South County Regional Water Treatment Plant (SCRWTP), specifically the lime softening treatment process. The selected Consultant will inform the CCWSD of all necessary improvements/expansion to be completed for the lime softening treatment process. The main activities include, but are not limited to, completing asset management, modeling, preliminary design, preliminary construction phasing/sequencing, long lead procurement register, cashflow analysis, final design, final construction phasing/sequencing, permitting, bidding packages, opinion of probable costs, services during construction, working with the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)/Contractor support services, and start-up & commissioning all improvements. The selected Consultant may need to incorporate necessary Reverse Osmosis treatment process improvements/expansion activities into this project.
