The Town of Webster, invites sealed bids for furnishing the following items in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by CHA: Pump Station No. 1 Clear Well Demolition. Bidders shall certify that they do not, and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facility that is segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Attention of Bidders is directed to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract and affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity. Wages paid to employees must also comply with the minimum established by the Commissioner of Labor and the weekly payroll record submittal requirements under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, c.149, Sections 26 through 27F inclusive. Selection of the contractor will be based upon bidder qualifications, including evidence of past performance in similar projects, and bid price. The contract will be awarded to the bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
