Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lafayette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,152-square-foot fire / police facility.
The Work consists of asbestos removal and selected demolition work from the areas designated on the drawings. The erecting of barriers and the removal and disposal of building material coated with asbestos as indicated in the drawings. 1. The Work, as indicated on the plans, may include any or all of the following a. The removal of asbestos-containing floor tile and associated mastic in areas indicated on the drawings. b. The containment, transport and disposal of all waste in full accordance with all pertinent local, State and federal regulations. The Scope of Services shall consist of, but not limited to the Renovations & Additions to the existing Fire Station no. 2 building which include the addition of a new kitchen, new bathroom and new dining room, renovation of the existing kitchen and dining for new sleeping quarters and bathroom, asbestos abatement of a portion of the existing flooring, addition of a new sprinkler system, general renovations to the remaining facility, new exterior fencing and courtyard, and a new electric generator system. The Work shall consist of the Base Bid. All work shall be completed within Two hundred and forty (240) Calendar days from issuance of the date Notice to Proceed.
