Hamilton County Construction Inspection for the pavement preservation of 146th St. from U.S. 31 to Hazel Dell Rd. (Des # 1901695) in the Greenfield District. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered. Project Description: Pavement preservation includes full width milling and resurfacing approx. 2.93 miles. An executed bid bond shall be included with all bids. Only electronic bid bonds submitted through the designated electronic medium, either Surety2000 or Tinubu Surety Solution, will be accepted with the bid. A fully executed performance bond shall be included with all bids, except on contracts for roadside mowing, vegetation control, demolition, landscaping, fencing, seeding and sodding, bridge painting, and guardrail installations of $100,000 or less, when the bidder may elect not to furnish a performance bond. Electronically does not support submittal of the performance bond. The performance bond must be submitted to the Construction Letting email inbox or be delivered on paper by the time set for receipt of proposal bids. Each contractor that submits a proposal bid in the amount of $150,000 or more for highway improvements described in this notice is required to submit with that bid a written plan for a program to test the contractor's employees for drugs.
