Saving Project...

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the services of an electrical contractor (Contractor) for removal, replacement, and installation of four variable frequency drives (VFD's) and Auxiliary Control Panels (ACP's) at the Milan Pump Station located at 3760 N 63rd Street in Kansas City, Kansas. The pump station must remain operational throughout the entire project supplying water that a portion of Kansas City, Kansas. Only one drive at a time will be available for this work to be completed and new installation must be completed and operational prior to a subsequent drive being taken out of service. The BPU has purchased the four ABB VFDs. The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to unload the new drives, remove existing VFD and install the BPU furnished VFD, ACP & related equipment and to wire the power feeds, control cabling, and the communications cables to operate the pumps as designed and in accordance with Technical Specification Section 16010 Electrical Work Scope and with VFD Manufacturers drawings provided.
