The City of Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking assistance from qualified Transportation Consulting firms to provide f ederally f unded transportation planning , transportation engineering, and transit planning and analysis services on an "on-call" basis for a period of three years. The on-call contract will provide a flexible and effective way for GDOT to respond to recurring consultant service needs covering a range of multi-dimensional transportation engineering and planning tasks. The flexible on-call consultant service contracts with qualified transportation firms will help meet the needs of the City and the Metropolitan Planning Organization. Each firm selected for an on-call contract will be required to enter into a master agreement with the City of Greensboro. This master agreement will fulfill the consultant solicitation and selection process for the work to be performed under the on-call contract. This contract shall be partially reimbursed with Federal-aid funding through the North Carolina Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as the Department). The solicitation, selection, and negotiation of a contract shall be conducted in accordance with all Department requirements and guidelines. Proposed Contract Term: three (3) years Proposed Contract Extensions: one (1) year The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
