Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All questions germane to the proposal and deemed requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing no later than the timeframe stated to allow sufficient time for answers to be considered and prepared by the District. Detroit Public Schools Community District approved a 20-year Facility Master Plan and vision, identified to continue to maximize use of the District's school buildings, improve overall condition of schools through some new school buildings and renovations to existing buildings. The Facility Master Plan also includes demolition of buildings identified in the Plan. Detroit Public Schools Community District is seeking design services for the first series of projects for the Facility Master Plan. The Facility Master Plan Series 1 (FMP 1) consists of multiple projects: New Build Construction (K-8) - FMP Series 1 -Project A Carsten (K-8) - 500 student capacity approximately 75,000 SF Paul Robeson Malcolm X (K-8) - 500 student capacity approximately 75,000 SF New Build Construction (High Schools) - FMP Series 1 -Project B Pershing High School - 600 student capacity approximately 125,000 SF Renovations - FMP Series 1 -Project C Davis Aerospace relocation to City Airport Renovation - 250 student capacity approximately 95,000 SF Addition - FMP Series 1 -Project D Southeastern Annex Addition - 10,800 additions to existing Southeastern High School for manufacturing and including a new parking lot Demolitions - FMP Series 1 -Project E Golightly Career and Technical Center and Davis Aerospace approximately 133,000 SF Thurgood Marshall approximately 90,000 SF Pershing High School - approximately 250,000 SF Carstens approximately 130,000 SF Paul Robeson/Malcolm X approximately 48,000 SF Attend pre-bid meetings held at the project. Include attendance at bid openings. Bid Tabulations will be prepared by the Construction Manager. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
